A mayem family, the Dessai-Degwekar's have a tradition to potray imporant issues that happened in the previous year in dekhavas and decoration during chovoth.

This year too they took this tradition forward. 

Ganesh devotees feared that corona might spoil this year's chovoth.

However, it didnt happen in most places. Rajendra and Sandesh from Gajanan Dessai Degwekar's family from Gaonkarwada Mayem normally prepared various types of Dekhavas during chovoth.

However, Rajendra is no more and his daughter studying in 11^th standard Ramiyan has carried this tradition forward.

She has created this Dekhava with help of his cousins Rama Dessai, Himanshu Shetye and Sanskruti Shetye.
