Church decision on St Joseph Vaz feast venue final: Vijai

He said whatever the church hierarchy has decided about the venue of St Joseph feast at Sancoale is final.

Vijai warned trouble makers stating that the government will come down heavily on anyone trying to disturb peace.

Vijai inspected the heritage site at Sancoale on Thursday to check the preparation for St Joseph Vaz feast.

The feast is celebrated on the 16^th of January every year.

Some people have objected to the feast mass being held at the site of the old church facade.
