Shiv Jayanti celebration: Govt keeps out Bandora panchayat this time

Controversy has arisen between the Bandora panchayat and the government over Shiv Jayanti celebrations. The Bandora panchayat is upset as their panchayat has been kept out of the Shiv Jayanti celebration organisation this year. They say they will be forced to boycott this years Shiv Jayanti.

Bandora Sarpanch Ramchandra Naik said since 1973 the panchayat and department of information and publicity wwere jointly organising Shiv Jayanti.

However, Bandora panchayat was kept aside this year. This panchayat owes its allegiance to MGPs Sudin Dhavalikar.

Art and Culture Minister Govind Gawade sharply reacted to the allegations.
