Shiroda: Cat fight between coalition partners escalates

The Shiroda bye elections has brought the differences between coalition partners BJP and MGP in the open.



MGP president Deepak Dhavalikar, taking offense at being called Asaram babu by BJP candidate Subash Shirodkar, in turn called him mentally disturbed. Here's the story.


Shiroda constituency is facing bye elections after Congress MLA Subash Shirodkar resigned from the party, assembly and joined the BJP.


What muddied the waters is that government all MGP decided to throw its hat into the ring making leading to a catfight. Goa 365 spoke to Deepak on the issue. Watch his reaction.


Deepak said that after the elections an inquiry would be constituted after the bye elections.


Earlier the BJP candidate Subash Shirodkar had cast aspersions on the character of the MGP candidate Deepak Dhavalikar likening him to Asaram Bapu. Watch
