Rohan suggests virtual assembly session to discuss issues

07 Jul 2020 06:50 PM

Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte has come down heavily on the government for curtailing the monsoon assembly session to just one day.

AAP too has come out against this one day session alleging that the opposition is in collusion with the government.

It has called on the people to come out in protest in case this is not changed in 7 days.

Rohan said the financial condition of Goa is not good.

The legislators wanted to discuss the issue and suggest remedies.

He said that there are many issues that the state is facing and the government can conduct virtual assembly to discuss them.

Rohan said instead of appointing ministers to manage the fight against Covid-19 in every taluka the government should have appointed the respective legislator to look after the matter.

Aam Admi party has called on the people to come out in protest in case the tenure of the one day assembly is not increased.
