Goa Forward Party has alleged that there is widespread rave and drugs parties in North Goa's coastal areas. Goa Forward says these parties are not confined to coastal areas but have spread to other interior parts of the state too.

Party's Siolim MLA called upon the chief minister to act and save the future generations of Goa from this drug menace.

Goa Forward Party's Siolim MLA Vinod Palioencar said that the chief minister sometime back had asked people to inform him if any drugs business is going on in the state.

He said he had written to the chief minister on the 15th of this month informing him about the rave parties in his constituency but no action has been taken till date.

He suggested the home ministry should be handed over to Calangute MLA Michael Lobo as he has better knowledge of the coastal areas.
