Also she was kept in one place and got fed up. As she hated the restrictions and wanted some freedom, she fled as soon as she got an opportunity, Auda felt.

The survivor had gone missing from 18th April. As the accused is the Congress candidate for the Panaji bypolls, this led to a political slug fest.

The survivor was ultimately found on Monday at her friends residence in Mapusa. Auda condemned political parties for misusing the news that the girl was missing.

Auda has written to the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to set up after care home for children.

She said such homes will help the rehabilitation of kids, help them to mature so they can face society and also be a protection home till their pending cases are over.
