A huge rally against the CAA and NRC has been organized in Panaji on Friday, at the intiative of the Church. It would begin at 3.30 in the after from Campal and culminate into a public meeting at Azad Maidan. This is the third anti-CAA rally organised by church. On the other hand, BJP Minister Mauvin Godhino has appealed not to divide people on the issue of CAA.

Churhc along with other organisations had organised two public meeting in Madgao and Fatorda.

Later, Archbishop of Goa Fillipe Neri Ferrao had also issued a press note opposing CAA and NRC.

Now, appeals have been made through churches to attend the Panaji rally.

But Mauvin says he's not with church on this issue because he claims this would lead to divide the society on communal lines.
