Goa Forward demands audit of Workers Welfare Board, Labour Dept

Goa Forward party has urged the Comptroller and Accountant General to conduct an audit of Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and the Labour Department. Goa Forward said the is a need for clarity in view of the lokayukta's order to ACB to file an FIR over misuse of Labour funds.

Goa Forward Party delegation led by it President Vijai Sardesai met the Accountant General and handed over a letter to him to conduct an audit of Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and the Labour Department. Goa Forward Party had file a complaint with Goa Lokayukta with regard to misuse of central funds meant for construction workers during the pandemic.
