Exile political goons: Rajdeep

Its better late than never truth wins. Those who speak truth are harassed and artist should have courage to face it. Never committed any crime to disrupt peace. But, the politicians who did this needed to exiled, Goa’s noted theater artist Rajdeep Naik said.



The most loved Goan theater artist Rajdeep Naik was hit with a notice of section 111 and section 107 over pasting some comment on facebook. It also ordered Rajdeep to submit bond of 10,000 rupees in the court as his act could have disrupt peace.

The news spread to entire Goa. Theater lovers across Goa were surprised over this. Rajdeep has challenged the order in High Court.

Rajdeep’s car was smashed earlier. A pressure from top used to shut down his dramas. Rajdeep believes political power was behind this harassment. Rajdeep has also requested ECI to take action against Ponda deputy collector Pradeep Naik.

Earlier, Rajdeep had supported Manohar Parrikar during the Medium of instruction protest which brought BJP to power. Later, how the pages turned has been explained by Rajdeep.
