We all know what happened on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. But now watch the reasoning given by the MGP and the BJP on what happened and why.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant told media that Sudin Dhavlikar didn't kept Yuti Dharma by fielding his candidate in Shiroda by-polls.

Dhavlikar didn't followed the conditions laid while forming our alliance. Alliance had agreed function on common minimum program.

According to program MGP shouldn't have contested. He had assured Nitin Gadkari that he won't field its candidate but didn't act on it.

Meanwhile, MGP president Deepak Dhavlikar told media that they are contesting by-elections against the defectors from the party.

Goa is small state and MLAs defecting from the party creates problem to State and people. MGP will also contest against defectors in future too he said.
