Like CM, Vijai has also denied the allegation. Both seems to be in a mood to pull out skeletons from each other’s cupboards.
The chief minster on Monday refuted Vijai's allegations on massive property purchases and in turn alleged that Vijai's fortunes had risen 500 per cent from 2007 to 2012.
He has also promised an inquiry into what he termed as misdeeds by the Goa Forward chief and his former deputy chief minister.
On Tuesday Vijay refuted this. According to him his assets rose from 2007 to 2012 as he was a defeated candidate and could concentrate more time on his business.
He said that in 2017 his assets had in fact decreased. And in 2019, his assets had decreased even further.
