Asked about his view on constructing a new Raj Bhavan, Shripad said this can wait till Goa's financial condition improves.
Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik had recently termed the Goa government’s decision to build a new Raj Bhavan as illogical and imprudent.
He had said that at a time when the state is battling Covid-19 and reeling under financial crises, the idea to construct a new Raj Bhavan is irrational and imprudent.
Shripad welcome Ponda MLA
Ravi Naik's two sons Ritesh and Roy joining the BJP on Thursday.
In 1999, Ravi had won the Ponda constituency on Congress ticket and the following year he led a group of Congress legislators to join the BJP which enabled the party to form its first government under the leadership of Manohar Parrikar.
