Twitter war: Congress Vs Goa Forward

The platform for new age political fight is twitter. It’s the place where sometimes one can figure out what’s cooking behind the scenes. On Sunday, Congress and Goa Forward spokespersons were seen trolling each other. Here’s how

It all started with a tweet by Congress spokesperson Sidhanath Buyao, who mocked Regional forces in Goa, saying they can be the kingmakers but not the Kings, drawing a comparison to  Karnataka Chief Minister of JDS HD Kumaraswamy.

A jibe, that did not go well with the Goa Forward ex-spokesperson Durgadas Kamat.

He accused the Congress Goa desk in-charge Chellakumar of trying to poach Goa Forward leaders.

And then started the war, that clearly indicated behind-the-scenes of Goa politics.

Durgadas Kamat asked Congress’ Siddanath Buyao about Shiroda MLA. The rumour of Shiroda MLA Subhash Shirodkar joining Goa Forward has been doing rounds all these days, so did Kamat just confirm the news? 

This further led to a big revelation by the Congress spokesperson. Though he shied away from naming the person,  he almost confirmed that one of the ministers of Goa Forward wants to shift back to the Congress party. 

 The two, almost giving away the insights of political tug-of-war. But the question is, was this with the consent of their party bosses?
