Sopte takes over as GTDC Chairman

Sopte is now chairman of Goa Tourism Development Coroporation.

Outgoing Chairman and power minister Nilesh Cabral handed him over the charge on Thursday.

EDC Chairman Subhash Shirodkar was also present. 

Along with Subhash, Sopte had quit as Congress MLA and joined the BJP.

After taking over as the GTDC chairman, Sopte said he would take dreams of Cabral on tourism forward.

The things which attract foreign and domestic tourists will be developed on priority.

He also stated that his supporters showcased their strengths by remaining present at function in large numbers.

 Power Minister Nilesh Cabral said he would give his full support to Sopte. Works which he had started would taken to logical conclusion.
