Nilesh Cabral breaks silence on his resignation; here’s what said

Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral has broken silence following news of his resignation as the PWD minister. MLA Cabral asserted that his resignation was not forced and that the central leadership ‘requested’ him to leave the chair.

With Nilesh Cabral now out of the cabinet, Alexo Sequiera has been inducted into the cabinet. Alexo was one of the 8 Congress MLAs who had jumped ship to the BJP back in September last year. While the development came all of a sudden, it remains to be seen whether more changes will be made to Dr. Pramod Sawant’s cabinet anytime soon, if any at all.
