MMC chairperson, councillor deny Carlos's allegations

Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council Kritesh Gaonkar and a councillor have denied the allegations leveled against them by Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida that they have taken money from fruit vendors.

Kritesh and Councillor Lavina D'Souza said that the allegations are baseless.  Kritesh got several fruit vendors to vouch that neither the Councillor nor the Chairperson has ever taken money from them.
