Congress has alleged that the government has applied unethical, illegal and corrupt methods in the admission process of MBBS students at the Goa Medical College. Congress also questioned the government over the transfer of some patients to private hospitals for treatment.

Congress says that the government introduced a scheme called Economical Weaker Section for people with annual income of three lakh rupees.

But the government later changed this income slab to eight lakh rupees per annum, thus causing immense hardships to the applicants.

Congress also questioned the government over transfer of patient for treatment to other private hospitals.
