First MLAS, now sarpanchas too want higher salaries

Joseph Vaz, the All Goa Panchayats Democratic Forum told Goa 365 that he had submitted a memorandum to the government asking for a salary hike a year back.

These grass root elected representatives feel that they need spend more than even MLAs as they are in the field.
