CM could dissolve assembly, alleges cong; writes to Gov

The Congress party said that it was certain that the chief minister Manohar Parrikar would dissolve the government and install himself as the caretaker chief minister.
He would then hold assembly polls along with Lok Sabha polls.
Fearing this, the party had written to the governor on Wednesday asking her not to accept any resolution to dissolve the government from the chief minister.
The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Girish Chodankar said that Manohar Parrikar had done this in 2002.
And he could possible do this again.
So they were requesting the Governor to be aware of this and take appropriate steps. If not they would use democratic tools to oppose this.
