AAP criticises CM move to become Pro-Chancellor of GU

Aam Aadmi Party has criticised the chief minister's proposal to become the Pro-Chancellor of Goa University . AAP said there is no need for the government to interfere in an autonomous body.

Moves are afoot to make Chief Minister Pramod Sawant the Pro-Chancellor of Goa University.

The university already has a vice chancellor and the Governor ex officio is the Chancellor of Goa university.
