Confusion over Lok Sabha & Assembly bye-elections is increasing every day.

BJP President Vinay Tendulkar now says that Laxmikant Parsekar will campaign for BJP candidate in Mandrem.

BJP MP Shripad Naik claims that MGP will back out from elections.

However, Goa Forward is still not clear what role it would play in the Lok Sabha poll.

On Thursday, BJP announced its high level committee to decide its candidates for Lok Sabha as well as Assembly bye-elections.

All top leaders including Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

And one of their members is rebel BJP leader Laxmikant Parsekar.

Tendulkar says he would even campaign for the BJP in Mandrem.

Parsekar has literally been blasting Vinay Tendulkar for the last two-three days. He was in Panaji on Thursday and also promised Goa365 to give his comments.

But his phone was found switched off since afternoon.

However he had spoken to us on Wednesday evening. And continued blasting Tendulkar.

MGP is a major alliance partner in the ruling coalition.

But its president Deepak Dhavalikar has already decided to contest from Shiroda against the ruling partner BJP.

And still undecided over its strategy in Lok Sabha election.

BJP’s North Goa MP Shripad Naik launched his campaign on Thursday from Mhaddol.

He expressed confidence that MGP will withdraw from the election.

But Deepak on the other hand has already started moving from house to house in Shiroda.

Goa Forward is another ruling coalition partner. It is still not opening its cards for Lok Sabha election.

President and minister Vijai Sardesai continues saying that they would back the party which works for Goa and Goenkarponn.

Also says they would play a sideline role. But not spelling out if they would support the BJP.
