Panaji street lights, parking issue to be sorted out soon: Mayor

The street lights in Panaji Smart City would be revamped in this month itself. All other isues affecting city would be solved by the October, Corporation City of Panaji Mayor Rohit Monserrate said on Monday after the CCP’s regular meeing. CCP has also decided to solve parking issue of residential buildings.

The issue of rehabilation of flood affected local from Camrabhat also came up for discussion after the CCP meeting held on Monday discussed some crucial agendas. These include the proposal to do comprhensive mapping of drainage through GSUDA in CCP jurisdiction. CCP also discusssed the parking issues of those staying in residential areas who do not have a parking spot. Also Camrabhat floods every year and people from there need to be shifted. A decision to do survey in this regards has been taken, CCP Mayor Rohit Monserrate said.
