Babita faces case from Margao shop owner

A shop owner has filed a case with the Vigilance Department against Madgao municipal chairperson Babita Angle Prabhudessai, chief officer Deepali Naik & another person, for passing an order to grant trade licence in his absence.

He has demanded suspension of the chief officer and resignation of the chairperson.

Shop owner Nelson Fernandes says that all these officials passed an order to grant  trade licence in his absence when the matter is sub-judice.
