PMC creates awareness on wet waste composting

Lets start to take care of the environment from our home itself. With this motto an awareness campaign called home composting wet waste was held in Ponda. This is a part of future plan to treat its wet waste at its source and to keep the City clean as well as to minimize the cost such as laborers, trucks on garbage disposal Plant.

This awareness campaign was organised by the Ponda Muncipal Council in Collaboration with GSUDA. Home composting were in the presentation was held as to how to overcome the wet waste problem at its source by composting it in every household, society, apartment, buildings, hotels in PMC area following the scientific method of composting without any stench smell from it.

Ponda Muncipalty Chairperson Pradeep Naik said PMC has decides to treat wet waste at its source by making compost unit compulsory for every household, housing society, apartments.
