Goa Burns Despite Forest Minister’s assurances

– As Goa continues to go to the ashes, Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that fires in Goa particularly at the Mhadei Sanctuary will be doused soon. But despite the assurances, Goa is on a burn amidst the ongoing summer.

As multiple parts of Goa report cases of fire, Forest Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that miscreants responsible will be brought to book soon.

The minister made the assurance after he conducted an aerial survey with the defence forces. He also took to Twitter to ask citizens to stay away from the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, until cooling operations are over.

Meanwhile after conducting the aerial survey, the minister who also holds the Health portfolio, said that

TEXT PLATE 1- People responsible for the fire will be taken to task
                        -Citizens entering the Mhadei Sanctuary will be arrested under the Forest Act
                        -Forest Guards will be working 24/7 to engage in fire fighting operations
