Everything was in agenda, says Sarzora sarpanch on panchas disqualification issue

Sarzora Sarpanch Sabita Mascarenhas has rubbished allegations that she was not informing panchas when panchayat body meetings were being held. She was answering allegations after last gram sabha had resolved to disqualify panchas who were not attending body meetings and sabhas.

After the gram sabha Opposition panch Jacinto Fernandes had alleged that Sarpanch was not calling them about general body meetings and agenda of the gram sabha.

However Sabita asserted that the panch was indeed there and aware of everything.

At the gram sabha villagers had resolved to disqualify the panchas who remained absent.
