Curtorim MLA did not take it kindly to Benaulim MLA's visit to his constituency

Reginald has alleged that Churchill is trying to play politics in his constituency. Churchill, however, said he went to Curtorim at the request of Curtorim Deputy Sarpanch Simon Barretto.

After 13 members of 6 families in Curtorim village tested positive for coronavirus, South Goa Collector Ajit Roy issued an order declaring certain parts of ward 2 as containment zone and the rest of the ward as a buffer zone.

The authorities are in the process of lifting restrictions on the containment zone as the cases have come down.
