CCP finalises pay parking, increases rate

Corporation City of Panaji has notified Miramar circle to Sharda Mandir school as pay parking zone. CCP has also revised parking fees. Earlier, fee was 20 rupees per four hour now motorists will have to pay 20 rupees per hour. The road from Inox to Panaji market has also been temporarily notified as one way during Chovoth festivities.

CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar said parking fees are revised to encourage people to use more two-wheeler instead of frequently using the cars.

Cars will be charged but not two-wheelers. This would solve the traffic congestion in city.

18^th june road as well as the road around the municipal garden will also be pay parking.
