BMC removes five controversial kiosks in Bicholim market

Bicholim Municipal Council on Saturday removed five controversial kiosks in Bicholim market. Bicholim Bachao Abhiyan had raised a hue and cry against these shops accusing the local body of mismanagement. After the allegations and counter allegations BMC had sealed these shop a few days back.

After the shops were sealed BMC called its council meeting.

Opposition councilors had alleged that BMC has shown soft corner towards these shops and won't raze it.

On Saturday BMC workers dismantled these kiosks.
