Angela Painginkar elected Cuncoli chairperson

Eight councillors voted for her. Two voted against while two remained absent.

Cuncolim Municipal Council has 12 councillors.

Ten councillors were preset at the meting.

Former chairperson Lavita Mascarenhas was dethroned on 8^th May after a no-confidence motion was passed against her.
