GUV TO DISBURSE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ON MODI BIRTHDAY

Governor PS Shreedharan Pillai will disburse financial assistance to 71 social service NGOs on 8th October. Besides distributing financial aid governor will meet and interact with the aged in old age homes, destitute homes and orphanages in October and November.

 Governor Pillai had announced this financial assistance from the Discretionary Fund to 71 to old-age, destitute homes and orphanages on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi birthday. These would be disbursed during a formal function at Darbar hall in Raj Bhavan.  Along with minister, leaders from two different faiths would remain present. A tree plantation drive is also planned on the occasion, Secretary to Governor Mihir Vardhan said.
