Water shortage in Quepem, Salcete, Mormugao, as pipeline bursts

This pipeline is very old, say sources. This burst at Sonsodo in Madgao. The leakage had started on Monday. The PWD says it will take at least one day to repair it. Till then, there is no water supply from the Selaulim plant. But another plant has been put into operation to supply water to Salcete and Mormugao. But this is likely to be a partial solution.
