Use SEZ land for IIT: Cong

On Monday the Congress demanded that the land that was given to SEZ be used for the IIT project not the one at Sattari.

The government should immediately cancel the transfers orders or face the public wrath the Congress said. 

Ten lakh sq mts at Gullei has been earmarked for the IIT project.

Now GPCC president Girish Chodankar said that Government must use the land of SEZ for the proposed IIT project instead of using the fertile land in Sattari.

Congress said that it is a criminal act to cut almost 2 lakh trees for the IIT project to come up.
