Taxi operators want Pushkar counter to be removed from airport

In a midst of a fight between local taxi versus Goa Miles app taxis, all the taxi operators have also strongly opposed rent-a-cab taxi counter of Pushkar Travels. They have threatened of agitation if this counter is not removed from the airport immediately.

The Goa Rent-a-cab Association convened a meeting in Madgao to discuss this issue. It was also attended by the owner of Pushkar Travels. The main grievance of taxi operators at the airport is that Pushkar steals their customers.

The taxi operators including tourist taxis and yellow and black taxis allege that there are several online complaints against Pushkar Travels. Additional Collector Prassana Acharya said the issue will be taken before the Transport department and concern authorities. The owner of Pushkar Travels, Pushkal Fernandes also cleared his stand.
