Scam in police promotions, all stuck, alleges NCP

The Nationalist Congress Party on Wednesday alleged that there was some gochi in the promotions and recruitment of police personnel. The NCP alleges that promotions right from Havaldar to PI to DySP are being inordinately and illogically held up for years together leading to suspicions of some mischief.

General Secretary of NCP Sanjay Barde said that from many years’ promotions of police inspectors are pending. It has alleged that instead of PIs being promoted the government is seeking to recruit DySP.  Even hawaldar, assistant police and police inspectors are not promoted. Watch their argument
