Rassai Ferry Ramp damaged, Commuters life in risk

Commuters using Rassai ferry are in danger, the ramp of the ferry is narrow and damaged. People are risking their lives and are seen traveling on this route. Travellers have demanded immediate repairs.

the Portion of ferry ramp at Rassai has been collapsed posing risk to commuters and vehciles travelling on this Adpai Rassai Ferry ramp. People travelling on this fear now to travel on this route due collapsed portion of ferry ramp. The ferry operators too said that they fear to anchor also the ferry at broken ferry ramp where major portion of ramp is washed away.

The ferry is used as short Cort route by large number of employees working towards at Industries at Ponda and Verna Industrial estate. Social worker Hanumant Naik said considering the large number of people travelling on this route the government should repair it urgently.

Baban Sawant president of Taxi Operators said government should repair the ramp before untoward incident. On the other hand, People are facing electricity problem on adpai ferry at night time as no there are no light.
