Porvorim Citizen’s Forum condemns attack on advocate, alleges political hand

He alleged that he was assaulted by goons that included the local Sarpanch.

Albuquerque has filed a police complaint against the local sarpanch.

Ticlo has also accused the Revenue minister Rohan Khaunte of interfering in the police investigation. 

According to forum president Wilbur Ticlo, 85-year-old Salvador-Do-Mundo local had filed complaint against illegal constructions in village.

He was represented by Albuquerque. Forum has also laimed that such blatant illegal constructions can only happen in connivance with the local panchayat and government.
