Congress has demanded the arrest of Urban Development Minister Milind Naik and a thorough inquiry into power and water bills sent to him in personal name, but to his official bungalow. Congress also questioned the assistant engineer for issuing clarification over the bill amounting to 172 rupees for 50 days.

The Electricity department has however said that issuing bills in the occupant's name  is a normal practice. GPCC Vice President Sankalp Amonkar  on Saturday demanded that  Milind be arrested or sacked from the ministry.

Congress has also questioned the assistant engineer of the Electricity Department as to why he issued clarification about the bill. Sankalp said the  minister was staying at the bungalow during Ganesh Chathurti.
