Margao RTO inaccessible to disabled, elderly as elevator ceases to work

The RTO office in Margao is situated on the second floor. However, getting to it is a task as the elevator is out of order. Everyone who comes to work in the RTO, including the elderly and the disabled, has to use the stairs.

RGP’s South Goa coordinator Tiotin Costa charged that people face difficulties in getting to the Madgaon RTO office. The out-of-order elevator here has proved to be a task for the elderly and disabled in reaching the office. Revolutionary Goans have demanded at least a single window facility for hypothecation.
