Heavy traffic at Cuncolim, demands traffic police

Locals have raised serious concerns over the regular heavy traffic on the NH17 especially at the Cuncolim Bazaar. They say that due to heavy vehicles on this route there is heavy traffic congestion. They say that atleast one police official should be posted on site to curb and control this.

Look at these visuals. This is a regular occurrence for Cuncolkars and people using this route. In addition to regular traffic, heavy vehicles on this route add to increase the traffic congestion in Cuncolim especially near the junction.
