244 shacks to be demolited at Morjim, Ashwem beach

Nearly 244 shacks were identified by the NGT for demolition at Morjim and Ashwem beach because they were near the Turtle nesting site. On Sunday some of these shacks were demolished. However, though the Deputy Collector and other officials were present at the site, they refused to speak to media on the issue.
