Work on for uniform rules for legislative assembly rules across India: LS speaker

Three committees headed by speakers from different state assemblies have been appointed to create a uniform set of rules for legislative bodies across the country, the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said on Friday.

The speaker was in the state to address MLAs on the Role of Parliament in the Doctrine of Separation of Powers: Enhancing Transparency and Accountability
