The Story of Sal: A water supply hub suffering from water scarcity itself || ENGLISH || GOA365

Residents of Sal, the river which quenches the thirst of North Goa are complaining about a lack of water supply adding to the misery of interrupted electricity in the town. The village already houses a substation which is an irony in itself.

The issue of water & electricity supply is of major concern as the town battles through them on a regular basis. Even festivities in the town are affectedby frequent electricity cuts lastingup to 5 hours. The villagers have been facing these issues for the last 15 days with a grim hope of things going back to normal, but in vain as concerned authorities are yet to address these issues.
