Smart City Corruption Row: Cong challenges BJP to ‘investigate and expose culprits’

Days after Congress accused the government of indulging in corrupt practices in the Panjim Smart City Work, Union Minister for Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri rubbished the claims. Now Congress leaders responding to the Union Ministerhave challenged the ruling party to prove the claims corruption false and wanting a judicial review of the whole issue.

Congress had come down heavily incumbent party and the Union Minster, after his hushhushvisit last week. Union Minister, Puri who went back to Delhi after the meet, released a press statement, wherein he not only rubbished Congress’ claims as being unsubstantiated, but also informed that he had toured through Panjim and felt the work to be beneficial to locals.
