Ride Baga roads at your own peril

In fact they have started patching potholes with their own resources across Calangute instead of waiting for authorities.

The roads in Calangute are more akin to a lunarscape.

However, despite bringing this to notice of the local MLA Michael Lobo, the Calangute panchayat and the PWD on several occasions, the issue is still being neglected. 

Calangute locals led by Nilesh Goltekar brought rubble and debris and started patching up the potholes at Khobrawaddo.

They began at 7 am and filled up most potholes in the area. The panchayat and local MLA have still not reacted even after this.
