Repair this road within a week or face rasta roko: Borim panchas

They have threatened to come out on the streets and agitate if these roads are not repaired within a week. 

 Local panchas say that these potholes are the cause of accidents.

Till date nothing major has happened in terms of fatalities.

But this could happen any time. So they want the authorities to take action  

Potholes have been in the news for some time now.

The authorities led by the PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar have been on the back foot over the issue.

He has been promising action. And action against erring contractors.

But the complaints about the state of roads all over the state are on the rise and the government seems to be fighting a losing battle against these potholes.
