Port and dock workers obtained stay on MPT DA freeze

GPADEU President Laxmikant Gaude said that the Union had approached the High Court because the employees who had worked all through the pandemic deserved the DA and they had managed to get a stay on the order.

Gaude also said that  a handful of people was making noise over coal handling, but the entire port along with its employees and pensioners were dependent on coal handling. He also said that if the Government decided to cut down coal handling , the MPT would be closed.
