Nagzar-Curti Culvert on the main Ponda nullah is in precarious condition. The slabs iron rods are rusty and exposed as the plaster has fallen off. Last year during during the monsoon flood water flowed over the nullah causing panic in Nagzar areas.

Locals along with Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, sarpanch Shailesh Shet, local panch Dadi Naik, and councillor Ritesh Naik inspected the culvert.

They want a new culvert as this one is forty year old and weak now. Locals also say that there is a sewerage pipe installed near foundation pillar of this culvert.

And as the sewerage pipe floats during the monsoon, lots of garbage including dry trees get stuck to Culvert base leading to water flowing at the culvert at high pressure.
