IPHB dy director clears air over alleged job scam, gives ‘clean chit’

Following allegations and protests by social activists and a few politicians over the wrongful hiring of an individual, Satish Naik, the deputy director of IPHB, Dr. Pooja M. Madkaiker, in a press conference cleared the air over the allegations.

Dr. Pooja M. Madkaiker, the deputy director of IPHB goa cleared the air over allegations levied against the department. Dr Pooja affirmed that an inquiry is being carried out,

with the department already having received replied from the college wherein the accused Satish Naik allegedly passed his SSC. The deputy director also affirmed that Satish has provided a residence certificate and does have knowledge of Konkani, which is a requisite for the job.

The deputy Director also assured that he doesn’t not directly deal with patients with respect to their health or treatment.

The issue began after social activist John Nazareth alleged that Satish Naik had allegedly secured a job at IPHB after submitting false documents. Several politicians too joined the chorus, alleging wrongdoing and protection of the accused by the department.
